 Just arrived - 

 Threads for embroidery – Presencia Perle 16,  especially colour matched for the beautiful new Block of the month – Neenies Garden by Hugs’n’Kisses.

Neenies Garden Block of the Month runs over 11 months,  is hand embroidered and coloured,  medallion style centre with large swags in the setting triangles, surrounded by pretty pink scalloped sashings. The patterns for the blocks are iron on – so no tracing is needed, and the patterns can be ironed on multiple times.    $34 per month includes all fabric, patterns, the thread pack and postage.

 Bonsai Geisha is a new range of orientals,  featuring gold over patterns, geisha portraits and dragonflies in salmon pinks, pale sage, deep crimson and cream. A deep brown border fabric frames this magnificent quilt.   A kit for the quilt measuring 66 x 74 using this fabric is $135 which includes all fabrics for the top and the pattern. (Northcott Fabrics).

 For the Machine Embroiderers there is a brand new range of La Paleta rayons from Spain. There are 80 brilliant colours with a magnificent sheen and smooth texture to choose from. $8-50 for 800 metres.

 The new EME (from Queensland) embroidery designs are also in stock, Old Toys, Wooden  Toys and both the Faerie Delights are $99 each. Beautifully digitised for your embroidery projects.

 The pattern Sets for the brand new McKenna Ryan quilt – Love Faith and Hope - are available. We are waiting for the batiks to arrive to go with this pattern set which is done in serene blues, greys and creams. Patterns are available as a set of nine, or individually, and are priced at $18 each.

 New Sewing Boxes – plastic with coloured top tray and lid with a carry handle. Perfect for keeping bits and pieces together. Also a new all in one tool, like a giant pen with all sorts of tools inside.

 Mellie and Me have released a cute range of soft toy patterns. Perfect for Christmas gifts and easy to make.  Patterns are $15 each or 3 for $40.

 Jelly Rolls are very popular and can be customised to your colourway. $45 per roll, gives you two and a half metres of fabric pre-cut into two and a half inch strips for you to arrange into a unique strippy quilt. Lots of books and patterns are also available for jelly rolls and there are some quilts hanging in the shop made with jelly rolls.

 Colourway one metre bundles are ready for your next project where you need various pieces of the same colour. These are $20 and have five 20 cm pieces of toning fabrics in a particular colour ready to go.

 Lots of new bag handles are in stock - cane, wood and metal in all shapes and sizes. There are also bag bases, magnetic clasps and a range of lovely trims which are perfect for decorating your bags.

 Block of the Months running at Lily Lane are – Noah and Friends, Little Maccas Farm, Songbirds, Butterfly Kisses, French Collection, and the new Libby Richardson Baby Bear which is a 4 month program will soon be available.

All Blocks of the Month are also available as pattern only sets, patterns of the month, two blocks per month, or whatever suits you best.

 We also stock a wide range of wide back fabrics for your quilt backs. Saves time sewing the backing together as its generally 108 inches wide. Price ranges from $15 to $30 per metre. Wadding to finish your quilt is available in wool/poly, cotton and the new bamboo. If you bring your quilt top to Lily Lane for quilting, and buy the wadding and backing from us, you will receive a discount on the package.
