Lily Lane News March 2017

What a great year we have had so far.
We have held our third annual Heyfield stitching day. Again it was enjoyed by a wonderful group of ladies from near and far.  Melissa from One Day in May was our guest tutor this year.

There have been plenty of deliveries of new fabrics during the last couple of weeks, check the website to see them and make your selections or better still call into the shop and see them in person.

A beautiful new baby  range from Clothworks has arrived - I love you to the moon and back. It is in pink, blue and neutral for all your baby needs, Look in the Fabric/Baby category to see all the prints. I will have a simple cot quilt up on the website soon, and it will be kitted up in all three colours.

Another new childrens range is Mini Fun Fair. It has a stunning applique pattern, by Melly and Me  and we have made up kits for the pattern. You can purchase a fabric kit and the pattern, or just the fabric kit. We have also made up a mod cot quilt in the range and the kits will be up on the website in a couple of days.

Do you just  love reproduction fabrics? Two stunning  new Reproduction ranges from two Australian designers have just hit the shelves - Bally Hall and Elizabeths Dowry.  There is a brilliant  pre printed panel to make your quilt look like you have done amazing foundation pieced blocks.  Have a look at them all  here.    There is a free download pattern for Bally hall  on the Andover fabrics website.

Our Lakes Entrance shop has been open for three months now, if you are in that part of the world please come and visit the girls at Lily Lane Too, in Carpenter  Street.  Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday. 10 am.

On April 1st we are holding a stack and slash workshop in Lakes Entrance. There are just a couple of places left if you are looking for an easy fat quarter technique and a few hours with your sewing machine and rotary cutter. Book with Lily Lane Too 0437675940 or send me an email with any inquiries.

Until next time, happy sewing, Jennifer and the team at Lily Lane
